How the WooCommerce integration works

WooCommerce runs on your own WordPress hosting, which makes it flexible and makes its stock figure fragile — plugins write to it, imports overwrite it, and nobody is sure which number is right. BizBloqs takes that responsibility off the shop.

WooCommerce — REST API

WooCommerce REST API with consumer key/secret over HTTPS

A REST API key pair with read/write scope connects the shop to BizBloqs. Paid orders are collected on a short interval, products and variations come down for scanning, and availability goes back as a single authoritative number per SKU. Shipments are written back with carrier and tracking so Woo sends its own completion email, and refunds and returns line up with the physical return receipt in the warehouse.

Integration FAQ

Our stock plugin also writes stock — is that a problem?

It is the problem. One system has to be leading; we agree that it is the warehouse and switch the other writers off, otherwise the two will keep overwriting each other.

Does this work on shared hosting?

Usually yes, as long as the REST API is reachable over HTTPS and the host does not throttle it aggressively. We test that before go-live.

What happens if the WooCommerce connection drops?

Messages are queued and replayed. Warehouse work continues in BizBloqs during an outage; the queue drains once the connection is restored, and failed messages stay visible instead of disappearing silently.

Can we change the standard message set?

The table above is our standard integration with WooCommerce. Extra messages, different field mappings or customer-specific rules are handled through workflows in BizBloqs — we tell you upfront what is standard and what is custom work.

How long does connecting WooCommerce take?
