How the Optiply integration works

Optiply decides what to buy and when; BizBloqs decides where it goes and proves what is physically there. The exchange is therefore about stock positions and purchase advice, not about the full ERP document set.

BizBloqs supplies Optiply with the data its algorithm needs: real stock per item, open purchase orders and outbound history. Optiply turns that into purchase advice and supplier orders. Because Optiply works on demand patterns, the value of the connection depends entirely on the quality of the stock position you feed it — which is exactly what a WMS with location-level control provides.

Whether purchase orders come from Optiply or from your ERP is a deliberate choice; only one system should be the origin.

This is our standard integration. An empty field means that message is not exchanged in that direction by default. Integrations can be modified or extended customer-specific through workflows.

How we roll it out

1. Stock hygiene
Optiply is only as good as the stock it sees, so we start from a counted, location-level stock position in BizBloqs.
2. Connection
API credentials are exchanged and the first stock and history sync is validated against your own numbers.
3. Supplier setup
Lead times, minimum order quantities and supplier terms are maintained in Optiply.
4. Advice review
The first rounds of purchase advice are reviewed by hand before anything is ordered automatically.
5. Go-live
Advice, ordering and receipt confirmation run as a closed loop.

Integration FAQ

Does Optiply replace purchasing in our ERP?

Not necessarily. Optiply generates the advice; where the purchase order is formally booked is a choice you make during setup. Only one system should be the origin of the order.

How often does stock sync?

On a schedule. Purchase advice is a planning process, so a scheduled sync is appropriate — unlike a shipping label, which is per transaction.

Why involve the WMS at all?

Because ERP stock and physical stock are rarely the same number. Optiply that runs on WMS stock is ordering against reality.

What happens with backorders?

Shortages that block outbound are visible in BizBloqs and can be shared with Optiply so they weigh into the next advice round.

Do we need clean supplier data?

Yes. Lead times and minimum order quantities live in Optiply and directly drive the advice quality.

Can we start with advice only?

Yes, and we recommend it. Review the advice manually for a few rounds before letting anything order automatically.
