Familiarity is exactly why the warehouse gets left behind: the stock screen has always been the stock screen, and everyone has learned to work around the fact that it is not quite right.

King stays the administrative system. Invoicing, ledgers and reporting are untouched; what changes is that the numbers behind them come from scans instead of from typing at the end of the day.

WHAT CHANGES ONCE KING ERP AND BIZBLOQS ARE CONNECTED

The connection is a data agreement, not a development project. Orders, receipts, stock corrections and shipping confirmations move between King ERP and BizBloqs as they happen.

A real WMS next to King, not inside it

The warehouse gets locations, zones, scanning and pick logic that King was never meant to provide, while King keeps ownership of items, orders and the financial position.

Scanned receiving against the purchase order

Purchase orders come down to the handheld at the dock. Quantities and deviations are confirmed on arrival and posted back, so purchasing and finance see the receipt the same hour.

Picking, packing and shipping on handhelds

Pick, pack and ship run on scanning with verification per line, and the delivery confirmation is written back into King so invoicing follows the shipment instead of waiting on paperwork.

Production and assembly orders included

If King's production module is live, open production and assembly orders come down and completed work goes back up, with hours per order when you register them.

Counts and corrections with reason codes

Cycle counts run during normal operations and post corrections with reason codes, which is what turns the stock figure in King from an estimate into something purchasing can order against.

Bookkeeping keeps working exactly as before

Nothing changes for the office. The same screens, the same reports, the same month-end — with data that was scanned rather than remembered.

How the King ERP integration works

King ERP is a long-standing Dutch SME package for trade and production companies. BizBloqs connects over King's supported integration interface, so orders and item data reach the warehouse floor and every confirmed warehouse action is written back into the same administration your bookkeeper works in.

The exchange runs on a schedule and on events: open purchase and sales orders come down, receipts and deliveries go back up, and stock counts and corrections land in King with their reason codes intact. For companies running King's production module, production and assembly orders are part of the optional set. Because King administrations differ per company, the object list is confirmed during discovery instead of assumed.

Which messages are exchanged

This is the standard interface between an ERP and a WMS, exchanged with King ERP as the events happen. Empty cells mean that direction is not part of the standard integration.

Rows marked optional depend on the modules in your King ERP licence and on how your administration is set up. Production, assembly and their time registration require the matching modules.

This is our standard integration. An empty field means that message is not exchanged in that direction by default. Integrations can be modified or extended customer-specific through workflows.

How we roll it out

1. Discovery
We walk through your King ERP administration and agree which objects are in scope and which system is leading per object.
2. Connection
The technical connection to King ERP is set up and validated against a test administration. Access is scoped to the objects in the agreed message set.
3. Mapping
Item codes, units, warehouses, locations and reason codes are mapped. Deviations between the ERP and the physical warehouse surface here, not on go-live day.
4. Test round
We run a full cycle on a test administration: purchase order in, receipt back, sales order in, delivery back, count and correction. Every message is checked in both systems.
5. Go-live
Cut over on the live administration with monitored message queues. Failed messages are visible and can be replayed — nothing disappears silently.

Integration FAQ

We run King's production module — is that included?

Production and assembly orders are in the optional part of the message set. If the module is live in your administration, open orders come down and completed production or assembly goes back up, with time registration if you use it.

Does our bookkeeper have to change how they work?

No. King stays the administrative system: invoicing, ledgers and reporting are untouched. What changes is that the stock and delivery data behind those numbers is now produced by scanning instead of typing.

Is stock in King ERP updated in real time?

Stock in the ERP is updated on every confirmed warehouse action — receipt, delivery, count, correction. The operational truth lives in the WMS, where stock is tracked per location, batch and serial; King ERP holds the financial and administrative position.

Which system is leading for item master data?

King ERP. Items, barcodes, units and weights are created and maintained in the ERP and downloaded into BizBloqs. Warehouse-specific attributes, such as pick location or storage class, are maintained in BizBloqs.

What happens if the connection drops?

Messages are queued and replayed. Warehouse work continues in BizBloqs during an ERP or network outage; the queue drains once the connection is restored, and failed messages stay visible instead of disappearing silently.

Can we change the standard message set?

Yes. The table above is our standard integration. Extra messages, different field mappings or customer-specific rules are handled through workflows in BizBloqs — we tell you upfront what is standard and what is custom work.

How long does a King ERP implementation take?

The connection itself is a matter of days. The realistic timeline is set by mapping and testing, and by how clean your item master and location structure already are.
