Transus — EDI service provider
EDIFACT/XML messages exchanged through the Transus network per trading partner
Incoming ORDERS become warehouse orders with the trading partner's own rules attached: pallet build-up, label placement, delivery windows and documentation. Outgoing DESADV is generated from what was physically packed, with SSCC per colli and pallet, which is what keeps a retailer's goods-in from rejecting the delivery. ORDRSP, RECADV, INVRPT and INVOIC are added per partner as their scheme requires — a message set that differs per retailer is normal, not an exception.
What you need
- A Transus subscription covering your trading partners
- The message specification per trading partner (they publish it)
- A GS1 company prefix for SSCC generation
