EDI messages flow between your trading partners, Transus and BizBloqs in the rhythm each partner agreement requires.

ORDERS into the warehouse

Incoming ORDERS messages become warehouse orders directly, with the partner's own requirements attached.

DESADV built from the pallet

The DESADV is generated from the load carriers actually built, so its hierarchy matches the pallet in front of the driver.

SSCC labels at the packing station

SSCC numbers are allocated and labels printed at the station where the pallet is closed, not afterwards from a list.

Receipt confirmations processed

Receipt confirmations from your customer are processed back onto the shipment so differences surface immediately.

Invoice data from real shipments

Invoice data is derived from what shipped and was accepted rather than from what was ordered.

Partner onboarding via Transus

How the Transus integration works

Retailers do not ask whether you would like to do EDI. Transus handles the message translation and the network; BizBloqs handles what the messages describe — the order that has to be picked, the SSCC on the pallet and the despatch advice that has to be right before the truck leaves.

Transus — EDI service provider

EDIFACT/XML messages exchanged through the Transus network per trading partner

Incoming ORDERS become warehouse orders with the trading partner's own rules attached: pallet build-up, label placement, delivery windows and documentation. Outgoing DESADV is generated from what was physically packed, with SSCC per colli and pallet, which is what keeps a retailer's goods-in from rejecting the delivery. ORDRSP, RECADV, INVRPT and INVOIC are added per partner as their scheme requires — a message set that differs per retailer is normal, not an exception.

The technical connection is established on a test environment first, so you can see real data moving before anything touches your live operation.
3. Mapping and testing
Fields, codes and exceptions are mapped and tested with your own orders — including the ones that normally go wrong.
4. Go live
We go live with your team on the floor, monitor the first days closely and hand over a connection your people can read themselves.

Integration FAQ

Every retailer wants something different — is that a problem?

It is the normal situation. The differences are handled per trading partner in workflows, so adding retailer number seven does not mean rebuilding the first six.

Who generates the SSCC?

BizBloqs, at the moment the pallet is physically built, using your own GS1 prefix — which is the only moment the number can be truthful.

What happens if the Transus connection drops?

Messages are queued and replayed. Warehouse work continues in BizBloqs during an outage; the queue drains once the connection is restored, and failed messages stay visible instead of disappearing silently.

Can we change the standard message set?

The table above is our standard integration with Transus. Extra messages, different field mappings or customer-specific rules are handled through workflows in BizBloqs — we tell you upfront what is standard and what is custom work.

How long does connecting Transus take?

The connection itself is a matter of days. The realistic timeline is set by mapping and testing, and by how clean your product data and process agreements already are.
