PCData — pick-to-light and put-to-light displays
Pick and put instructions to the display controller, confirmations back per press
The connection is a two-way task loop with the display controller. BizBloqs sends the instruction — this location, this quantity, into this tote or this order position — and receives back the quantity actually confirmed, including corrections the operator makes on the display and shortages reported at the face. Put-to-light works the other way round for batch picking: one walk through the zone, lights on the order positions that need the article in hand. Because the confirmation is per press rather than per completed order, a discrepancy is located at the exact pick instead of at the end of a batch, and replenishment can be triggered the moment a lane reports empty rather than the next morning.
