Sellable stock back per SKU

Sellable stock is written back per SKU from a counted warehouse position, which is what actually stops overselling.

Fulfilment with track & trace

When the parcel is packed, the fulfilment is posted with carrier and tracking, and the customer notification is triggered by a real shipment.

Partial shipments handled

Backorders and partial shipments are supported properly: what is available ships now, the rest stays visible as open.

Returns matched to the order

Returns are received against the original order line, with condition and reason recorded, so credits are based on facts.

One stock truth across channels

How the Lightspeed integration works

Lightspeed customers usually sell in more than one place at once: a webshop, a physical store and sometimes a marketplace on the side. The warehouse is what those channels have in common, and it is where the stock question is actually settled.

Lightspeed eCom / Retail — API

REST API with an API key pair per shop, orders and stock per SKU

BizBloqs authenticates against the Lightspeed API with a key pair for your shop. Orders come in, products and variants come down for scanning, and availability is written back per SKU on the agreed refresh. Fulfilment with carrier and tracking is posted back so the order closes in Lightspeed, and store pickup or store-fulfilled orders can be excluded from the warehouse flow by rule rather than by hand.

Which messages are exchanged

This is the standard message set between BizBloqs and Lightspeed. Empty fields mean that message is not exchanged in that direction by default; optional rows depend on your modules, licence and process.

Integration FAQ

We sell in a physical store too — whose stock is shown online?

That is a rule, not a technical limitation. Most customers publish warehouse stock online and keep store stock separate; a shared pool is possible when the store scans as well.

Do click-and-collect orders reach the warehouse?

Only if you want them to. Pickup orders can be filtered out so the warehouse sees exactly the orders it has to ship.

What happens if the Lightspeed connection drops?

Messages are queued and replayed. Warehouse work continues in BizBloqs during an outage; the queue drains once the connection is restored, and failed messages stay visible instead of disappearing silently.

Can we change the standard message set?

The table above is our standard integration with Lightspeed. Extra messages, different field mappings or customer-specific rules are handled through workflows in BizBloqs — we tell you upfront what is standard and what is custom work.

How long does connecting Lightspeed take?

The connection itself is a matter of days. The realistic timeline is set by mapping and testing, and by how clean your product data and process agreements already are.
