Kardex — via Kardex Control Center / Power Pick System
Task exchange with the Kardex controller software over its documented host interface
The connection runs against the Kardex controller software, not against the hardware directly, so it works the same way for a Shuttle XP, a Megamat RS or a Horizontal Carousel as long as they sit behind the same controller. BizBloqs sends storage and pick tasks with item, quantity, priority and — where the article requires it — the batch, serial or expiry that must be registered. Kardex presents the tray or the carrier, the operator confirms, and the confirmation carries back the compartment actually used and the quantity actually handled, including short picks. Because the compartment structure is mirrored in BizBloqs, stock inside the machine stays addressable and countable from the WMS rather than being one aggregated number.
What you need
- Kardex Control Center or Power Pick System in a version that exposes the host interface
- The host / WMS interface option licensed by Kardex for your installation
- Network access from the BizBloqs environment to the controller PC
- An agreed compartment addressing scheme (machine, tray, compartment)
- A named contact at Kardex or your Kardex service partner for the interface
