Returns are received against the original order line, with condition and reason recorded, so credits are based on facts.

How the BigCommerce integration works

BigCommerce carries B2B and B2C on the same store, often with price lists and customer groups. BizBloqs handles the physical side of both without asking you to split your catalogue in two.

BigCommerce — V3 API

V3 REST API with a store API account, order webhooks

A store API account with scoped permissions connects BizBloqs to the V3 API. Orders arrive by webhook, products and variants come down for scanning, and inventory is written back per variant. Shipments are created with carrier and tracking so BigCommerce moves the order to shipped and notifies the customer, while partial shipments and cancellations follow the same path instead of being handled by hand in the admin.

Which messages are exchanged

Do B2B and B2C orders need separate processes?

Not in the warehouse. They arrive as orders with different rules — pallet vs parcel, different documents — and BizBloqs applies the rule per order.

Can we ship an order in parts?

Yes. Partial shipments are written back per line, so the customer sees exactly what left and what is still open.

What happens if the BigCommerce connection drops?

Messages are queued and replayed. Warehouse work continues in BizBloqs during an outage; the queue drains once the connection is restored, and failed messages stay visible instead of disappearing silently.

Can we change the standard message set?

The table above is our standard integration with BigCommerce. Extra messages, different field mappings or customer-specific rules are handled through workflows in BizBloqs — we tell you upfront what is standard and what is custom work.

How long does connecting BigCommerce take?
