Multi-client from the ground up
Client stock stays segregated in the record even when it shares an aisle. Each client gets their own item data, their own order flow and their own rules, without you running a separate system per contract.
Onboarding a new client becomes configuration rather than a project, which is what decides whether you can say yes to a contract that starts in three weeks.
- Segregated stock ownership across shared locations
- Per-client order intake, rules and documentation
- Client portal visibility of live stock and order status
- Per-client reporting without exporting to a spreadsheet
Bill for the work you actually did
Storage, handling in, handling out, value-added work, returns. If the activity is not captured as it happens it gets estimated at month end, and estimates always favour the client.
Every scan is a billable event with a timestamp behind it, so the invoice is defensible in the conversation that follows it.
The UK picture
Post-Brexit customs paperwork means your stock record has to survive an EORI-numbered export declaration, not just a pick list.
Carrier handover runs through the same layer as everything else — Royal Mail, DPD, Evri, DHL and Parcelforce — and client finance systems such as Sage 50, Sage 200 and Xero connect without a bespoke build per contract.
